Application fee receipt
A separate application fee is required for each program to which you apply. Please make sure that you fulfill all of the requirements for the department you are applying to, and that the department does have a quota, before paying the application fee(s). The application fee must be paid in person or by bank wire. The university does not accept credit cards or payment by PayPal. The application fee is non-refundable.
The medium of instruction at Boğaziçi University is English. All applicants must submit documentation proving proficiency in English. The Boğaziçi University Senate recognizes the results from a number of standardized tests for this purpose. Exemptions to this rule are listed below.

UK IELTS International English Language Testing System

Scores are valid for two years after the test date.
Applicants who have received their undergraduate or graduate degree from Boğaziçi University and are applying to a graduate or Ph.D. program within at most two years of graduation are exempt from the English proficiency test.
The English proficiency level of citizens from countries where English is the official language will be determined via an interview at the School of Foreign Languages (YADYOK), and a written exam if deemed necessary.
Applicants who studied at and graduated from institutions of higher education where the language of instruction was English, in a country where English was the mother tongue, during at least the last four years of their education, will be exempt from the English proficiency test for at most two years following their graduation date.
